Your bathroom is your space to relax and unwind; create a spa in your home by choosing the perfect bathroom tiles.
To create a relaxing atmosphere use white and creams combined with soothing greens, turquoises, blues and aqua tones. If you are not sure which colours harmonise, use our colour wheel to plan your colour scheme and discover which colours compliment each other.
Glass tiles, especially glass mosaics have a reflective sheen and when in blue or green shades, can give the effect of shimmering water. Mosaic tiles also work well as a splashback or accent in bathrooms and when combined with aqua coloured accesories, give a calming feel. You can also use bathroom tiles with beautiful decorative insets in relaxing pastel colours- see our aptly named Zen range for an exquistite example.
If you would like to keep the colour scheme neutral, choose luxurious floor tiles and wall tiles. The stunning new Atacama range features porcelain bathroom floor tiles and striking bathroom wall tiles that exude stylish elegance. Add fluffy robes, white towels and luxury accesories to complete the look. For that extra indulgence, install underfloor heating in your bathroom-not only does it eliminate ugly radiators it also adds value to your home too!
The little touches are important when creating your relaxing tranquil haven. Consider the lighting when choosing your bathroom tiles. One way you can soften the appearance of hard surfaces is to use lighting that bounces off of the tiles, especially when using rippling mosaic tiles. Fresh flowers also soften the appearance of bathrooms and if you are using an accent tile, matching the flower to the accent colour completes the bathroom.
