To work out how many tiles you need, use our handy tile calculator.
Please note the online tile calculator is meant to be a quick guide only. It does not, for example, take into account the space taken up by windows in walls or baths on floors.
The number of tiles you need depends on the size of tile. When you have worked out the total area, calculate the number of tiles you need by using the table below:

Please check your own measurements thoroughly before placing your order. Please remember that it is better to order too many and return them for a credit than to order too few and find we do not have any more stock. Please do not forget to order enough tiles to accommodate future changes such as moving a light switch or accidental damage.
You can order individual tiles as long as they are not sold as a set as, for example, some decorative insets are.
Adhesive
There are so many variables that it is impossible to say exactly how much adhesive you will need. However, as a rough guide, you will use between 1.5 and 2 litres for each square metre of tiling. We stock a wide range of BAL adhesive and grout, click here to download a Product Guideor Fixing Guide.
Grout
As a rough guide, you will need between 0.25kg and 0.5kg per square metre depending on the size of the joint.
