Trend: Black and White
Interior design firms predict that black and white are going to be huge in 2020. 2019 saw the rise of matt black, from taps, showers, paint, and countertops and this trend is set to continue this year but extending to floors as well.
One of the reasons black has been overlooked by consumers in the past is because of the assumption that black makes a room look smaller and it can feel a little claustrophobic. Instagram and Pinterest has proved otherwise! Pairing black with contrasting light colours is set to be the top trend for 2020.
As customers search to find the perfect contrasting colour to black, it seems that bright white or white marble effect is fast becoming the winning combination.
