What are the samples for?

We understand that it can be hard to choose a tile online, so that’s why we offer our sample service. With our cut or whole tile samples in your hands, you can better imagine and envision your latest interior design project.

While we do our best to present the most accurate tile images regarding colour, pattern and shading on our website, we’d always recommend ordering a tile sample to see how it matches your specific interior or exterior environment.

How many samples can I order?

We offer you 3 tile samples for free*, but you can actually order as many as you want! For orders that contain more than 3 samples, you'll be charged the whole tile price, or just £1 for a cut sample depending on the range.

*This includes cut tile samples or small whole tiles under £1 in value.

How do I order samples?

When you’ve found the right tile for you, simply click the ‘Order a sample’ button, then the ‘Add to basket’ button. When you’re ready to checkout, the 3 free samples will be deducted from your total basket. Then, it’s just a matter of entering your delivery details and confirming your order!

What sample sizes will I receive?

The cut tile samples are cut down to an approximate size of 100 x 100mm to make postage easier, as they will fit through most letterboxes (full tile samples are also available). If over £1 in value those tiles will be charged at full price, but postage & packing will be free. Tiles samples over 600x600mm can only be collected from one of our stores.

How do I make the most of my samples?

When checking the colour and finish of your samples, be sure to do it in the room that they will be used in, using both daytime and evening lighting when viewing. Also, be sure to place them in the position they will be fixed, i.e. vertical if used on a wall and horizontal if used on the floor, as the light can often differ.

What happens if my tile samples arrive broken?

We pack each sample order very carefully so this is unlikely to happen, but should you find broken sample(s), please contact us on helpdesk@tileflair.co.uk or call 0117 959 8891 and we can help you.

Can I place multiple sample orders to get more free tiles?

We check each free tile sample order against previous orders, so may either contact you to see if you would like to pay for the extra tiles or cancel any additional orders, if they are deemed to be an attempt to obtain more than the 3 allowable free tile samples. Please give us a call if you only need a few more tiles and we’ll do our best to help you in any way that we can.

Do you offer samples of your Premium Glass tiles?

We don't offer Premium Glass tile samples, however, we have a fantastic range for you to look at online and in our Tileflair stores.
